Privacy Policy

Alphzen is an independently operated developer tools site. Most tools parse and transform text or files in your browser. That input is not sent to Alphzen servers as part of using the tool.

Who is responsible

Privacy questions go to contact@alphzen.com. There is no separate data-protection inbox. See About for how the site is operated.

What we do not collect from tools

We do not collect the JSON, CSV, passwords, tokens, images, or file contents you paste or open in tools. Analytics, if enabled, may record that a tool was opened or that copy was clicked. They must not record the contents of the editor.

What the site may store locally

Theme preference is stored in your browser (localStorage) so the next visit can match light or dark mode. If Google AdSense is configured, this browser may also store your advertising choice (allow or reject). Search queries are not persisted by Alphzen.

Hosting and logs

The website is served over HTTPS by a hosting provider. Standard request logs (IP address, user agent, URL, time) may exist at that layer for security and reliability. Those logs are not a copy of tool input.

Cookies and advertising

Alphzen intends to show Google AdSense in reserved regions beside tools and guides. Ads do not cover tool controls or look like buttons. Tool payloads are not sent to Alphzen or to Google as part of using a tool. Advertising cookies are separate from editor contents.

AdSense is not configured on this deployment yet, so pages do not show ads or empty ad boxes, and no advertising cookies are set by Alphzen. When a publisher ID is added, ads still will not load until you allow them, and /ads.txt will list that publisher ID.

If you allow ads, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads (including personalized ads where permitted), measure performance, and limit how often you see an ad. You can also opt out of personalized ads in your Google account.

Analytics

Analytics is off unless it is explicitly enabled. When enabled, Alphzen uses cookieless page-view and event counts (Plausible, if configured). Events may include the tool slug and the action name (opened, copied, downloaded). They must not include editor contents, passwords, tokens, file bytes, or search strings.
